Cat Lady

I absolutely LOVE that I'm working outside a few days a week. With decent weather its been light jackets and bare skin! Hooowever, I have already received my first slap from the sun as a harsh reminder to WEAR SUNSCREEN!! My face got a little toasty too, ouch.

 

I just got this cicada ring, which I'm loving! And these earrings, which are thrifted. I also grabbed this tank on super sale but didn't even realize the back detail until I tried to put it on at home, ha! Only I would be completely oblivious to this style until my arm was awkwardly not fitting on one side..then that whole self conversation - "What is happening?! Waaait..Oh, ohhhhhhh, oh!" Hee, what can I say, I liked the color!

This kitty bag was my very first H&M purchase ever - before I even lived in San Francisco, when it was the first West Coast city to get an H&M. I've loved it ever since! It's the perfect canvas bag, and the kitty tail/strap is just too cute. Meow!

I don't know where this deep rooted love of loafers is coming from but it's there. Possibly it began with the, still coveted, cat loafers but one thing's for sure, I'm really diggin' em for summer! In the summer I'll be able to wear whatever shoes at work but I think there's several reasons I'll probably stay away from sandals. I think I may have found a happy medium!   

I picked this shirt up at an outlet billabong store a few years ago, it's got baby stars all over it! Coincidently, got this belt at the Volcolm outlet next-store! (yes, yes that is..a terrible pun. heh. )

This was supposed to be an afternoon outing at a local public garden which turned into a bad situation. It could have been much worse so really the sun on ma face was too glorious not smile about. Yay vitamin D, yay for that star power! (Yes, yes that is another terrible pun, baahaha!)

A Fierce Thrift Find

Another quick and cold beach excursion. I always want to take a little walk and I always think I want to do that on the beach. But it's always so windy and for some reason I keep going, totally in denial that yes, it will be windy.

I couldn't believe it when I pulled out this sweater, I didn't even care that it wasn't the right tag color! I thrifted this sweater coat...long sweater? sweater jacket?....for about 12$ which still was a really good deal for me.When I thrift I like to give myself a specific goal and budget, and always keep a keen eye on the tag color of the day items (you know, green tags are 50% off today). However I will make exceptions when something so awesome speaks to me, I just, I have no will. 

Running action shot yay! This happens to be the best picture of the actual design..skully caterpillar butterfly, um yes, but my favorite thing is really the colors - all of them! Reds, oranges, blues and violets plus all this cool pops of yellows and fucsias. It makes me feel fierce! Like my cheeetahhhh loafers!
